London, January 20 (ANI): Stars of actresses Sharon Stone, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen on the Hollywood Walk of Fame have been smudged with the words “FUR HAGS!” by anti-fur campaigners.
While Stones star, received in November 1995, was smeared with OLD FUR HAG!, the actress twins” shared marker bared the words “FUR HAGS!”, reports the Daily Express.
Many other celebrities, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Socialite Khloe Kardashian have previously found themselves at the centre of controversies for wearing fur.
Activists supporting People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) have been on their feet to discourage the use of fur and protest against the torture inflicted on animals under the name of fashion.
And it has been commonplace to observe anti-fur demonstrations outside the A-listers signings and public appearances. (ANI)

GOOD!!! These girls make me sick … wearing fur is NOT OK!! Why should animals suffer just because they want to wear a nice vest? coat? Fashion empire? Whatever i hope it fails!! Thats what they deserve!!

I can see why anti-fur protesters are unhappy with the Olsens but it doesn’t justify vandalizing something.

So wait, killing animals for fur is somehow despicable, yet slaughtering them for meat is any different? Humans don’t need meat for survival any more than they need fur to keep warm, so why is one seen as acceptable and the other isn’t? Minks are not endangered any more than chickens or cows are either, so it isn’t a matter of conservation either.

The protesters responsable are incredibly immature. They need to stop obessing over the Olsen’s choice to wear fur and focus on growing up.
I don’t know about all of them but some animals rights groups find eating meat despicable, for example Peta.
